I was hungry but tired and decided to go try this new place for me. When I arrived I saw that they had a drive-through and I really didn’t want to do a dine in, but just take it back to the hotel, eat and relax after a busy day. I ordered some great chicken fajita nachos and the deluxe platter. (Two cheese enchiladas, one puffy beef taco, Carne Asada, rice and beans.) everything was really delicious and well seasoned and I was so happy I got takeout in my hotel was not far away. I have a few more business trips to San Antonio and hope to try Camila’s again! Service was prompt and efficient and I’m glad I gave Camela’s a try! ~ Patrick H

Three visits so far and LOVE each dish we've tried! If you're looking to move in/around the Timberwood Park area, consider this your neighborhood Mexican restaurant for a casual and authentic dining experience! Just need a taco to go? They have a convenient drive-thru! We definitely recommend their Carne Guisada with cheese taco. Their guisada "gravy" is rich in flavor and they don't skimp on the meat. The friendliest restaurants on this side of San Antonio! Waitstaff very helpful and cheerful and took our orders correctly! Scrumptious foods n delicious hot salsa! Warm tortilla chips just the way we like them! We had the chicken and beef caldos without meat cuz we can’t eat meat for medical reasons. Best caldos ever! Excited to return with my other son and my beautiful grandkid! May God continue to bless everyone associated with this establishment with much happiness and prosperity! ~ Maria D

Came in for a quick lunch - it was GREAT as always!! The food is fresh, just the right amount of spices … yummmmy!! I had an enchilada & crispy beef taco (I consider myself an Enchilada connoisseur - and these are yummy!! Red tortillas & American cheese, added onions 😋😋). The crust taco shell was perfection (not stale) and hubby’s chicken caldo was just what the cold day needed!! If you haven’t been to this location- COME!!!! We were a big party of 10 on Father's Day breakfast. We ordered 2 carafes of juice with sparkling wine. They even presented the sparkling wine in an ice bucket. All the food was pretty good. Mine took a bit longer than everyone else's for some unknown reason. Both corn and flour tortillas were very good. They made our eggs perfectly sunny side up. Now the salsas could have been hotter. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and food here. ~ CC G

Good TexMex! Picked up food twice now (drive thru) and both times have been good. Tacos are a little pricey compared to other places in SA, but they fill the tortilla up completely and I used the extra meat for a bonus taco. Their enchilada and guisada plate was tasty, and the meat in the guisada was lean and flavorful. I'll continue coming here because it's good and a convenient location for me. ~ Christina B

1st time here. My Love and I loved it. She said the Carne Guisada was Amazing like her mama used to make it when she was young. I like my Chile Reyeno I requested yellow cheese. I loved my Chile Reyeno plate. Beans were delicious, rice was good Reyeno with meat was very good. Chips were crunchy and salsa was yummy. Very clean restaurant with plenty of hand sanitizer. We will go again this weekend they are good ~ Albert M

We were in town visiting family and based on their recommendation, we stopped at the restaurant on 3/12. I just couldn’t have been more pleased with Service, Food and Price! Our Server was Elviva, so personable, attentive and knowledgeable of Menu! Quality and quantity of Food was what is to be expected… and Price couldn’t have been more competitive!!! Looking forward to returning to SA/Camila’s this weekend! ~ Janet T

Love this place. Food is great at a very reasonable price. Now they have margaritas. I tried the frozen mango margarita. Everything I have had at Camila's has been top notch and large portions. Highly recommend!!! Definately a hidden gem. No wait but the place was busy yet still received my food very quick. Hot and delicious. I'm sitting here at home stuffed! ~ Lonnie C

This restaurant is one of the best mexican restaurants in San Antonio Texas. It is a hidden gem! I recommend it 100% The food is fresh and delicious, the staff is super friendly the service is amazing, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Camila's is our "Cheers". We love the personalized service we receive from the entire staff, but we go the furthest back with Norka. She is SO attentive, pleasant, thoughtful. When we walk in our fave drinks are on the table within minutes, and our food is delivered super quick after ordering. We love spending 2-3 mornings a week at Camila's for great food and amazing service. ~ Abby F

This is a quick, casual Mexican food restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have homemade chips and salsa if you dine in. We don’t have many places that provide quality Mexican food at reasonable prices in the Stone Oak area. I love the chili rellano and carne guisada. The restaurant has a family vibe. I had the big burrito with cheese topping, and it was great! I think the style is a little more Texan than Mexican, judging by the beans and the cheese, but done very well with generous portions & free drink refills. Attractive staff & fast service. Really nice Mexican food restaurant, almost 100% authentic, some tex-mex options as well. Really good service and great weekday specials. This location is nicer and bigger than the one on Henderson Pass. Service is better too, you get your food pretty fast. Their breakfast and lunch specials are some of the best in town. ~ C S

This is actually a nice little restaurant that serves good food and the service is great. Haven't been disappointed coming here yet and I've at least been here 12 or 15 times. Considering it's the only real Mexican restaurant in the area, the prices are reasonable for what you get. ~ John D

If your looking for some amazing tex-mex this side of 1604 definitely check this place out. We came in for some soup on this cold day and they did not disappoint!! The staff is also super friendly and attentive. Great food, great salsa, great staff what more can you ask for!? ~ Erik

We had a Carne Asada plate with Cheese Enchiladas. Asada was GREAT and had lots of flavor! I had Asada and Pico de Gallo. Also a great choice especially if you are watching carbs. Salsa was homemade and excellent! Price was very affordable! Highly recommend! ~ Cindy D

Hidden gem! We passed this place a million times and always went to our usual favs for Mexican. Sick family wanted tortilla soup so I stopped for takeout and got a variety of things. Every bite was better than the last! Our new favorite takeout spot for Mexican food!! ~ Roberta C
